Global Village 2012 — A festival of cultures in Kiev
On July 21st, The international youth organization AIESEC will host Global Village 2012, a cultural festival that aims to develop a tolerant attitude towards people of other nationalities.
Guests of the festival can get acquainted with the peculiarities of different cultures and people from many parts of the world. More than 50 participants from all over the world will gather at the festival in order to share the uniqueness of their native culture, their food and customs. Visitors will be able to personally interact with participants and learn more about the festival represented countries.
Representatives of 29 countries will partake in the event, including Poland, Austria, Romania, Spain, Portugal, Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Greece, USA, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, Turkey, Pakistan, China, India, Japan, Indonesia, Egypt, Lebanon, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco and Puerto Rico. All representatives are members of social and professional program of the international youth organization AIESEC.
During the festival, everyone will be able to participate in master classes associated with the traditional art of the represented countries, listen to the stories of famous travelers, and at the end of the festival, guests will enjoy a show with bands, dancers, and participants.
AIESEC is an international youth organization that brings together young people from 110 countries. Members of the organization are students and graduates striving to develop on a personal and professional level to take on leadership roles and change the world for the better.
