Jazz in Kiev

The Jazz in Kiev festival will take place for the fifth time this year. During three days in October the whole of jazz loving Europe and even the world will look to Kiev as renowned artists enter the stages.

Traditionally, the hosting venue is the International Centre for Culture and the Arts, which was called October Palace before Ukraine's Declaration of Independence in 1991.

A wide range of different styles and trends will be presented by a list of top jazz artists from all over the world. Guitar, trumpet, sax, piano, clarinet … masters of all of those instruments will introduce you to their passion and invite you to let yourself be carried away by the unique sound of improvisations that pierce your soul with irresistible rhythms and melodies full of blues.

Jazz in Kiev is one of Europe's best jazz festivals. Master classes by world famous artists such as Grammy winner Al Jarreau, who performed in the first two years will be attended by young, talented Ukrainian musicians thus one teaching the other while sharing a common passion.

During those three days in October Kiev becomes the New Orleans of Eastern Europe reverberating with the sweet sad sounds of Blues. A must for everyone who loves Jazz!
